Counterfeit notes alert from police

Businesses are being warned there are forged Manx ?10 notes in circulation in the Isle of Man.

They all have the same serial number - P432045 - which can be found in the top right hand corner.

Police are asking members of the public to check their notes carefully and to get in touch if they find one of the offending items.

PC Scott Mylchreest says there are several ways of telling if a note is counterfeit:
