by isleofman.com 29th July 2009

Jewellery worth ?10,000 has been taken from a house in the Ramsey area.

Police are investigating a theft which occurred between January and May this year, when the property was left empty.

Items taken included a pearl necklace, a platinum engagement ring and a ruby and diamond cluster.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who has seen the items or has been offered any of them for sale.

They particularly want to speak to people in the jewellery business who may have had any suspicions about objects they have seen.

Anyone with information is asked to ring Ramsey Police Station on 812234, or the anonymous Crimestoppers number, 0800 555 111.
