Isle of Man-based Royal London 360 has announced cheering sales figures despite the economic downturn.
The company, which includes Scottish Provident International, which it bought from Resolution last year, increased sales to ?126.9 million, from ?90.3 million.
The figures came as Royal London announced it had enjoyed a strong start to the year with protection sales, with Scottish Provident boosting first half turnover by 12 per cent.
The insurer says its new business premiums rose to ?1.19 billion in the six months to 30 June, from ?1.06 billion in the first half of 2008.
