Heavy goods vehicle operators in the Isle of Man are meeting this evening to hear the findings of a consultation which will affect their future.
The consultation into HGV operator licensing regulations was held in November and December last year, and the results will be heard at Keyll Daree, alongside Noble's Hospital.
It is hoped the regulations will improve safety on the Island's roads, by imposing standards of maintenance in vehicles weighing over three and a half tons.
Smaller haulage firms are worried the cost of implementing the licence could force them out of business.
There will be further meetings along similar lines at Ramsey Town Hall tomorrow and Ronaldsway Airport on Thursday.
Start time for all three meetings: 6pm.
