The funeral of Nathan Griffiths will take place today.
The 14 year-old Manx student was killed in an accident in a swimming pool in Thailand earlier this month.
He was on holiday in the resort of Pattaya when it's believed he was sucked into a swimming pool vent.
Edward Oldham reports (text, below, from attached audio file):
A service is being held for Nathan at Kirk Braddan at 1.30pm and is expected to be packed with the many friends he had.
That will be followed by a private cremation and celebration of his life.
He leaves mother Marion, father Jimmy, brothers Rhys and Kevin and sister Naomi.
His parents have requested they are left in peace so the family can grieve privately for Nathan.
