Jeremy Clarkson’s been speaking out about the public inquiry into rights of way at Langness.
Writing in his column for the Sunday Times, the Top Gear presenter discussed planning battles over green belt land.
And he explained his wife Frances was at the inquiry into the status of the footpaths near his home on the Peninsula.
The hearings took place at the Mount Murray last week – but he was less than complimentary about those who claim the paths are public rights of way.
In his column, Mr Clarkson explained he’d been embroiled in a row about the rights of way around his Manx home.
He said: 'All week, my wife has been at a public inquiry, started because some militant dog walkers in the Isle of Man wish to ramble through my kitchen and take YouTube footage of me on the lavatory.'
Meanwhile, the inquiry into Langness has been adjourned and will reopen in mid-August to hear more evidence.
