Police in the Isle of Man want to give minority groups a voice, and are hosting an open forum at the Keyll Darree lecture theatre, alongside Noble's hospital, this evening.
Officers are hoping to develop relationships with minority groups such as the disabled and those who have recently arrived on the Island.
It's thought people who have come here from other countries may have different expectations of the police.
Deputy Chief Constable Gary Roberts has been outlining what the constabulary hopes to achieve (play audio file):
The open forum at Keyll Darree starts at 6.30pm and anybody planning to attend is asked to ring 631227 in advance, to give organisers an idea of numbers.
