by isleofman.com 27th July 2009

Schools in the Isle of Man will reopen for the autumn term on Wednesday, September 9, as planned.

The Department of Education is confirming the date to scotch rumours they will stay closed for an extra two weeks, to prevent the spread of swine flu.

Education Minister Anne Craine says her department will remain in close contact with colleagues from the Public Health Directorate over the six week holiday period, and heed any advice which is offered.
