People on the first-time buyers list may be in luck as a new development gets underway in Foxdale.
The scheme consists of 15 new houses for people on the first-time buyer register. There are also two bungalows aimed specifically at anyone on the list with physical disabilities.
It is hoped the bungalows will allow the new owners to live an independent lifestyle and represents a first for this type of housing on the Island.
Completion is scheduled for 15 months time and member for the Department of Local Government and the Environment with responsibility for housing, Tim Crookall, said that the new owners would 'appreciate the benefits of the glorious views across and beyond the valley of Foxdale'.
