Langness inquiry goes into the field

by isleofman.com 24th July 2009

The public inquiry into footpaths at Langness moves to the peninsula itself today.

Jeremy and Frances Clarkson's legal team, PRoWL campaigners and members of the public will accompany the inspector, Roy Hickey, on a walk around the disputed areas.

Yesterday, Mrs Clarkson told the inquiry her family, including her three children, regularly received abuse from walkers on their land.

After the trip to Langness, the inquiry will be adjourned until August 11th, when evidence from former land owner Simon Riggall, and the current owner of the northern part of the peninsula, Graham Ferguson Lacey, will be heard.
