by isleofman.com 23rd July 2009

Following the success of last year’s event, Snaefell will once again be seen in Peel as she brings more than 400 visitors from Belfast on Saturday (25th July) for a special day trip package.

The fastcraft will leave Belfast at 10.30am and arrive in Peel at 12.30pm.

Passengers have had the choice of two tour options.  One will take in the sights and landmarks around the North of the Island including Kirk Michael and the famous TT course up to Sulby.

It will then call at Ramsey with further stops in Laxey and Douglas, the capital, before returning to Peel.

The second tour will head South to Castletown, the Island’s ancient capital. It will then stop at Douglas and Tynwald Mills in St. Johns, prior to returning to Peel.

Such has been the interest in the tours that both of them are now fully booked.

However, passengers can still choose a ferry only option for an enjoyable day in scenic Peel with its magnificent castle, House of Manannan museum, beach and array of shops and eateries.

Snaefell will make the return sailing to Belfast at 9pm.

Tickets for the ferry only option are ?29 for adults and ?19 for children. To book one of the remaining places, call 0871 222 1 333.

Chief Executive Mark Woodward said 'I’m delighted that we are once again offering this special day trip offer to and around our beautiful Island.

'It’s a convenient package at a great price, allowing visitors from Northern Ireland to get the most out of the Isle of Man during the summer holidays and to get a taste of what the Island really has to offer.'
