by isleofman.com 23rd July 2009

Ramsey’s Ollie Webster went on the rampage against Loaghtyn in their Twenty20 match on Tuesday.

The Island all-rounder smashed an undefeated 139, including a century from 42 balls.

His amazing knock, which included 11 sixes, helped his side to 227 for one wicket.

Opener Eddie Cleator hit 71 not out and the one wicket to fall went to Rob Howland.

Loaghtyn lost a quick wicket and were then pinned back by a variety of Ramsey bowlers.

Adam Peel claimed two victims and there was a rare wicket for skipper Rob Webber.

In an evening to remember, the Douglas side finished on 118 for 7 which gave the northerners victory by 109 runs.
