Frances Clarkson is due to take the stand at the inquiry into footpaths at Langness today.
The wife of Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson will be only the second witness to give evidence against public rights of way across the peninsula.
Yesterday, a campaigner for the pressure group PRoWL, John Welsh, said claims of trespassing by a previous owner were 'bogus' and that access to Langness had been free and unrestricted for the 50 years he had lived in the Isle of Man.
Tomorrow, the inspector conducting the inquiry, Roy Hickey, will visit Langness to see the areas being disputed.
The inquiry is being held at the Mount Murray Hotel, and Mrs Clarkson's evidence is due to be heard this morning.
