Peel lifeboat was launched yesterday afternoon, after a small pleasure boat got into difficulties at White Strand, just north of the town.
The 'Mirage', with four people on board, suffered engine failure.
The RNLI lifeboat, Ruby Clery, reached the vessel quickly, attached a line and towed it back to Peel, arriving at about 5pm.
It was the second time in just under a week the lifeboat had been called out.
