A retired Manx engineer is hoping a commercial backer can be found to build his groundbreaking tide power generators.
Doug Saunders says his system produces no emissions or pollutants and can run 24 hours a day, unlike most other tidal systems.
A team from Bradford University has backed the concept after carefully looking into its feasibility, and now all it needs is an investor.
