Moore heads qualifiers

Kevin Moore was the leading qualifier on the opening day Isle of Man Grant Thornton Golf Championship.

He topped the leaderboard with 141 after 36 holes at Mount Murray.

Paul Lowey netted 142 while defending champion Jon Corke also progressed to Tuesday’s last-16 knockout stage, as did first-time qualifiers Marcus Avery, Andrew Challenor, Donald Beggs and Gary Corlett.
