Learn how to keep bugs at bay!

by isleofman.com 18th July 2009

Hand Hygiene and how bugs can be transferred is the theme of an open day at Noble's Hospital today.

It's part of the 'Keep 'em Clean' campaign which started last week.

The aim is to raise awareness of the importance of washing hands to prevent the spread of infection.

The open day is at the Day Procedure Suite and is open to the public, patients, visitors and staff.

There are a variety of activities organised including 'mock-up' scenarios showing how bugs can be transferred.

They include an opportunity for people to check if they wash their hands properly by using an ultra violet hand hygiene box.

Time of open day: 10am to 3pm.
