A Douglas GP says the Island has been lucky so far in preventing swine flu from spreading rapidly.
But Dr David Chalmers says it's almost certain the virus will affect many more of us in the coming months.
There are seven confirmed cases in the Isle of Man, all of whom are said to have picked up the virus while visiting infected countries, which include the UK.
Dr Chalmers says with much to-ing and fro-ing between the Island and the UK over the summer, health chiefs here will be hard-pressed to continue to 'contain' the spread of swine flu.
Two antiviral drugs are now being stockpiled in the Isle of Man, after the virus developed a resistance to Tamiflu .
