New Audit Manager At Moore Stephens

Moore Stephens Isle of Man has appointed Robert Picken as overall audit manager.


Speaking about his new role Robert said, 'I’m extremely pleased to be joining a firm like Moore Stephens with its established reputation for exceptional client service.

 

'It will be particularly exciting for me to assist in expanding the local business portfolio.'


In his new role with Moore Stephens Isle of Man, Robert will oversee and manage various teams  in the audit and assurance services side of the business and will also review the portfolio of accounting support services which the firm offers to its local client base.


With over 20 years’ experience in accounting and auditing, Robert has a detailed knowledge of
audit, VAT, tax compliance and tax planning with experience in other offshore jurisdictions.

 

He joins Moore Stephens Isle of Man after 20 years at another Isle of Man accounting firm where he began his career.


David Shadwell, partner in charge of assurance and compliance services at Moore Stephens Isle
of Man, said, 'We are extremely pleased to be able to welcome Robert with his experience and
background to Moore Stephens Isle of Man'.

 

He added, 'It always gratifying to see Moore Stephens attracting such talented individuals despite difficult economic conditions.'


In his spare time, Robert enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid supporter of Scottish
rugby.
