Murder trial jury set to retire

The jury in the trial of a Douglas woman facing a charge of murder is set to retire later today to consider its verdict.

Twenty-eight year-old Arizona Devine Watterson is accused of killing Billy Rogers, also 28, in her flat on Clifton Terrace in March last year.

Mr Rogers died after being stabbed in the heart.

Acting Deemster Turner will sum up for the jury from 10.30 this morning at the courthouse in Douglas.
