Open air service at MNH site

by isleofman.com 11th July 2009

If you go for a picnic in Rushen Abbey Gardens tomorrow (Sunday), one thing you won't have to pack is your iPod.

That's because the Regal Singers will be performing their annual Songs of Praise service there from 2.30pm, and visitors will be invited to join in with well-known hymns.

The organisers are hoping for good weather but if it rains they will move the service to the Abbey Church, 100 yards away in Ballasalla.

Normal admission charges will apply for the Abbey but the gardens and service are free.
