More delays in postal deliveries to London

by isleofman.com 10th July 2009

Expect postal disruption.

That was the message from post office chiefs in the United Kingdom, ahead of today's final day of a rolling programme of 24-hour stoppages, by the Communication Workers' Union.

Post being sent to parts of London has been disrupted since Wednesday.

Isle of Man Post employees are not involved in the industrial action and are forwarding all mail as normal.

However, because of the industrial action, deliveries to most London postcode districts will be affected.

The special delivery next day guaranteed service from the Isle of Man should be running as normal.
