IOM Post makes its mark at Lord's

The Isle of Man has made its own small contribution to cricketing history, at a prestigious event at Lord's cricket ground.

At the MCC museum's Arts and Library Summer Party, Isle of Man Post chairman Alan Crowe, MLC, presented the club with a framed set of 'Cricket - The Ashes Series 2009' stamps.

The function was attended by over 200 guests including Surrey and England cricketer Mark Ramprakash, former English international cricketer Derek Underwood, who is the president of Marylebone Cricket Club, and Sir Tim Rice.
