A 34 year-old Douglas man charged with murder has been remanded by the High Bailiff until July 21.
Simon Peter Leece of Fairfield Terrace is also charged with two offences of arson, destroying property with intent to endanger life and two of damaging property with intent to endanger life.
Rosemary Burnett, prosecuting, said enquiries were now complete and a file was now being prepared.
She asked for a further remand in custody.
