Public urged to remember all injured riders

by isleofman.com 8th July 2009

Don't overlook any TT and Manx Grand Prix riders who have been seriously injured.

That's the plea from the secretary of the TT Riders' Association.

Frances Thorp says that while well-known competitors often benefit from fundraising, lesser-known riders who are injured or need help can easily be forgotten.

She says financial help for riders out of the public spotlight is just as vital (play audio file):

Frances Thorp can be contacted on 843695, by email at francesthorp@manx.net or at Mountain View, Glen Maye, Isle of Man, IM5 3BJ.
