Violence in the home - victims urged to speak out

The chief constable says he is pleased people in the Isle of Man have the confidence to report domestic violence.

Mike Langdon was on Mandate this morning, commenting on figures in his latest annual report, which shows an overall crime detection rate of 51 per cent.

He gave an assurance the police would take action whenever violence in the home was reported:
