Pulrose redevelopment to move into next phase

Work on the final two phases of the ?27 million redevelopment of Lower Pulrose is due to start before the end of the year.

Phases five and six consist of a total of 30 new houses, to be built near the National Sports Centre, and they've already been allocated to people currently living in the Inner Circle, or ring, of Upper Pulrose.

Public Health and Housing Committee member David Ashford says the completion of Lower Pulrose will enable a ?17 million pound scheme in the upper estate, including a sheltered housing complex, to begin:
