Police in the Isle of Man are pushing a new in-car child safety scheme, to let parents and owners of vehicles know exactly where they stand in the eyes of the law.
New legislation was introduced in 2007 requiring all children under the age of 12 - and under four feet, five inches in height - to use proper restraints.
But surveys carried out in Douglas and Ramsey found half of the people interviewed were unaware of the in-car safety laws.
The campaign to raise awareness follows directly on from the surveys.
