Dogs in cars - don't do it!

The manager of the MSPCA in the Isle of Man is warning dog owners not to leave pets in their cars on hot days.

The reminder comes after two police dogs died after being left in a vehicle in sweltering temperatures at Nottinghamshire Police Headquarters yesterday.

As well as having concerns about car safety, Lyn Renshaw says owners need to think about keeping their pets cool at home.

She says the society receives hundreds of calls every year about dogs in cars:
