The Isle of Man's chief veterinary officer has retired after eleven years in the post.
Eamon O'Donnell was responsible for protecting the Island from the 2001 outbreak of foot and mouth disease, which led to the cancellation of that year's TT.
Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Phil Gawne is praising Mr O'Donnell for his honesty while in the post.
