Stolen tortoise is safe and well

by isleofman.com 1st July 2009

An appeal on Manx Radio has led to a stolen Mediterranean tortoise being returned to the shop from which it was taken.

The reptile, which would have died if it hadn't continued a course of medication, was handed over through a third party.

Now it's back in its enclosure at the Island Aquatic Centre in Braddan and is said to be 'fighting fit'.
