Busy week for street theatre artists

by isleofman.com 1st July 2009

The Fairly Famous Family is providing entertainment for school children all over the Isle of Man this week.

The Family is a group of professional jugglers, musicians, comedians, magicians and stuntmen who have been together for nearly 20 years.

Their programme of engagements includes performances for students at Anagh Coar, Willaston, Murray's Road, Ballaugh, Scoill Phurt le Moirrey and St Thomas' primary schools.

Also on the schedule is a visit to Ballakermeen High School to perform for year seven pupils and members of the school's comedy club.

Big kids who want to see the group's antics will get the chance at the Queenie Festival this weekend, and at the annual open air Tynwald at St John's on Monday.

Details of performances at the Queenie Festival are available at queeniefestival.com
