Middle distance silver for Manx runner

The Isle of Man has won another medal on the athletics track at the Island Games.

Rachael Franklin took the silver in the women's 1500 metres final, with fellow Manx runner Gemma Astin fifth.

Earlier this afternoon, the Isle of Man claimed silver and bronze in the women's 400 metres, thanks to Harriet Pryke and Sarah Dowling.

The Isle of Man now has 22 medals, and is sixth in the medal table.
