by isleofman.com 30th June 2009

Tourism Minister Martyn Quayle has come under fire again in the House of Keys today over TT entertainment.

This morning (Tuesday) he faced questions about the TTXGP concert featuring a London orchestra which the Department of Tourism and Leisure funded from the Arts Council’s budget.

But MHKs pressed him further about why the concert went ahead with such poor ticket sales.

East Douglas MHK Brenda Cannell was scathing – saying the department should have done some market research.
