The chief executive of the DHSS says its important for his department to get the views of the Manx public on the best way to ensure the future of health and social care in the Isle of Man.
David Killip's comments follow the publication of a consultation document which explains how health costs are continuing to rise.
The problem is that, with an ageing population, there are expected to be fewer people paying taxes in the future to foot the bill.
