Public opinion to be canvassed over labelling

A new system of labelling Manx foods is on the horizon.

Various Manx-themed logos, such as the Legs of Man, have appeared on products in local supermarkets.

But labels don't always make it clear whether the food is completely Manx-grown or produced, or simply packaged here.

To help decided which system of food labelling would work best, DAFF is conducting a second public survey.

Minister Phil Gawne says a study last year showed consumers have the will to buy more Manx produce:
