Chance to check out Callow's Yard

As hundreds of people descend on Castletown for the World Tin Bath Championships today, the waiting is over for a ?14 million scheme in the centre of the town.

The first phase of Callow's Yard, including a coffee shop, family restaurant and fish n' chip takeaway, is open to the public.

The project, which aims to regenerate the ancient capital, bringing in more shoppers and improving trading prospects, is the brainchild of Roy Tilleard.

He hopes people will pop in to take a look:
