A section of Dhoon Glen which has been closed for years is now open again to the public.
Extreme weather had washed away paths and caused landslip upstream of the Dhoon Loop Road, and workers at the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry had been battling to carry out repairs.
But it’s been difficult work, hard to access – and more bad weather had caused yet more damage just when the department thought it had almost been finished.
Agriculture Minister Phil Gawne says despite the size of the task, he’s pleased people can now enjoy the whole of the beauty spot.
