Manx Radio is inviting its listeners to join another celebration to mark its 45th anniversary.
Following Saturday's day of fun and nostalgia at Onchan Park, a plaque will be unveiled at 10am on Monday, at the exact spot from where the station's very first broadcast was made.
The location was a field in Hillbery Road, Onchan and service came from a caravan!
The event is another chance for anybody who feels Manx Radio has been a part of their lives to get involved in the celebrations.
Terry Cringle, who has been asscoiated with the station for many years, remembers what it was like in the early days (play audio file):
Tomorrow morning's event has been organised by Onchan Commissioners, in recognition of Manx Radio's links with the village.
The plaque will be unveiled on the gate pillar of a proprty in Hillbery Road, which stands on the spot where the caravan was positioned.
