Is the Island being short changed?

by isleofman.com 28th June 2009

An Onchan MHK says he doesn't want the Isle of Man to lose out when it comes to digital television.

In the House of Keys on Tuesday, Peter Karran will ask chairman of the Communications Commission and fellow Onchan MHK Adrian Earnshaw, why the Island is only receiving 20 channels, and is not being upgraded to carry the full 43 which are being made available elsewhere.

Mr Karran says he wants to know what is fact and what is fiction (play audio file):

The switchover from analogue to digital television in the Isle of Man began earlier this month, and will be completed in July.
