Major roadworks in Douglas are due to start this weekend, after a one week delay.
The Department of Transport will begin lenghtening the right filter lane at Ridgeway Street, as well as widening Lord Street, on Sunday.
Work was due to get underway last Sunday, but was postponed when Circular Road had to remain closed after a building collapsed.
Lord Street will be one-way for traffic heading out of town during the works, which are due to be completed in August.
