by isleofman.com 26th June 2009

A retired hotelier died of a brain haemorrhage after a fall at his home, an inquest has heard.

Eighty year-old Leslie Glaister, from St John's, passed away in the Intensive Care Unit at Noble's Hospital on Monday.

Doctors on the ward determined that Mr Glaister had no realistic chance of survival when he was admitted, and he died later the same day.

Coroner Michael Moyle passed on his condolences to the family and released Mr Glaister's body for cremation.
