by isleofman.com 25th June 2009

An inquest has heard how an 83 year-old Douglas woman died of MRSA in Noble's Hospital.

Winifred Stewart passed away on June 9 from Bronchopneumonia, as a result of the so called superbug.

The inquest was adjourned to allow investigations, into how she became infected, to continue.

Coroner Michael Moyle released Mrs Stewart's body for her family to make funeral arrangements.
