Man transferred to Walton after pub fight

Police are appealing for witnesses after a fight outside a Ramsey pub left a man in intensive care.

The incident happened outside the Trafalgar at around 11pm on Saturday when a man received a serious head injury.

He was taken to Noble's Hospital and transferred to the intensive therapy unit at Walton Hospital in Liverpool on Sunday, where he is said to be in a stable condition.

Officers say a group of men and women were in the area at the time, and are appealing for anybody who saw what happened to come forward.
