Crossag Farm hearing

by isleofman.com 22nd June 2009

A Tynwald Select Committee will hear evidence on the Crossag Farm Development this Thursday (June 25).

Brenda Cannell MHK, David Callister MLC and Graham Cregeen MHK will take oral and written evidence to investigate the details of the contractual agreement between J.G Kelly and the Department of Local Government and the Environment.

Earlier this year, the developer withdrew its appeal over a failed petition of doleance to build more than 250 homes at Crossag Farm.

At 10am, the committee will hear evidence from the assistant financial controller at the Treasury.

Three quarters of an hour later chief executive of DLGE Ken Kinrade will give evidence.

The evidence will be heard in the Millennium Room of the Legislative Buildings on Finch Road in Douglas and members of the public are welcome to attend.

The committee will report back to the court at the earliest possible opportunity.
