Post-TT litterpick in Ramsey

by isleofman.com 20th June 2009

Come along and help out!

That’s the plea from organisers of a post-TT litterpick which is taking place in Ramsey this afternoon (Sunday).

Those interested are asked to meet by the recycling bins at the Shoprite car park at 2pm.

It’s the latest part of a clean-up campaign being run in the town by the Faith in Action group with volunteers.

One of them, Eddie O’Sullivan, says real progress is being made.

The Ramsey Cottage Hospital Community Garden Party also takes place this afternoon from 2-5pm in the Cottage Hospital grounds.

It will feature displays, stalls, sports and games, face painting, cream teas, a performance by the Manx Saxophone Ensemble, the Majorettes and a display by the Island’s prison dogs and handlers.
