I Love Manx competition

by isleofman.com 20th June 2009

The hunt is on to find the best recipes using Manx ingredients.

Kathryn Sentence showed how it can be done by cooking up such exotic treats as Manx lamb quesadillas and Manx Plaice with Gujarati curried beans in Marks and Spencer.

The Minister for Agriculture, Phil Gawne, and Ray Craine of the Manx National Farmers Union pulled on their aprons to give her a hand.

They were launching the I Love ManxChef initiative which seeks to find the chef with the best recipe using Manx food.

Belinda Leach, general secretary of the MNFU, wants to get people thinking about how they use Manx produce.
