Police are appealing for witnesses to a violent assault in the early hours of Saturday morning.
It happened between 2.20am and 2.35am at the Star Grill on Marina Road when a 19 year-old man was assaulted by another man who punched him in the face leading to injuries requiring hospital treatment.
His assailant is described as having blonde hair.
The attack appears to have been unprovoked.
Officers say there were a number of people in the area at the time.
