Roadshow in Ramsey today

by isleofman.com 19th June 2009

There's a chance for Ramsey residents to ask questions about the digital switchover today.

The team from Digital UK are based in the Shoprite car park, for the second half of their Isle of Man roadshow.

Some digital channels have been available on the Island since yesterday, when the analogue signal for BBC2 was turned off.

Sumera Bashir from the Switchover Help Scheme is urging people to be fully ready for digital by July 16, when the analogue signals will disappear (play audio file):

Age Concern says its helpline has been busy, but there have been no major issues among the older section of the population.
