Crowe and Cox appeal is launched

by isleofman.com 19th June 2009

A big fund raising effort is under way to help injured sidecar duo Nick Crowe and Mark Cox, and their families.

Both face months of surgery and rehabilitation, after suffering multiple fractures in a crash during the second sidecar TT, nine days ago.

A series of events has been organised, starting with a benefit night, supported by Manx Radio, at Paramount City next Friday, June 26.

One of the organisers, Rosie Christian, from the Sulby Glen hotel, says it's an extremely difficult time for both families, but the sidecar fraternity is rallying round.

She is also encouraging the public to contribute as much as possible to the cause.

Other events in the coming weeks include an online auction of TT memorabilia and a sponsored sidecar push round the TT course.
